In October 2009, Hudson Toyota contacted L2T Media to help determine why website leads had significantly dropped over the course of 10 days despite the fact website traffic remained steady.
Through a careful analysis of Google Analytics, L2T’s search team discovered a website bounce rate of more than 62% on the new inventory pages versus an average of 32% during the prior six month period. L2T Media performed a site analysis and determined that the pre-owned inventory was loading to the new inventory page.
The inventory feed was corrected, the bounce rate came down and lead submissions improved immediately.
